Simulation Instructors Modular Advanced Course (SIMAC)

The Simulation Instructors Modular Advanced Course (SIMAC) runs over 7 modules and encompasses the expertise of simulation instructors across various disciplines. Participants will develop expertise in the fundamentals of simulation based education through small group discussions, interactive tutorials and simulation training.

Topics include:

– Developing simulation scenarios
– Clinical teaching techniques and workshop development
– Develop expertise with Laerdal manikins
– Debriefing skills

August 2025 Course:

Module 1: Tuesday 12th August

Module 2: Tuesday 19th August

Module 3: Friday 22nd August

Module 4: Tuesday 2nd September

Module 5: Friday 12th September

Module 6: Tuesday 16th September

Module 7: Tuesday 23rd September

All modules run from 0830am – 1230pm
