The Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital Simulation Centre features two advanced simulation suites designed to replicate real clinical environments. These spaces can be configured as an Operating Theatre, Emergency Department, Trauma Bay, Intensive Care Unit or a Ward Environment, providing unmatched realism for training.

Each suite is equipped with:

  • Anaesthesia machine and a full operating table for theatre scenarios
  • Functioning wall oxygen and suction outlets, enabling authentic use of ventilators, oxygen delivery devices, and anaesthesia machines
  • High-fidelity manikins and integrated monitoring systems for immersive learning
  • Medical Emergency Trolley and Defibrillator for advanced life support
  • Airway and Procedural Trolleys for clinical procedures and fidelity

These facilities allow healthcare teams to practice complex procedures and crisis management in a safe, controlled environment, enhancing skills, teamwork, and patient safety.
